On Friday, November 13, 2009, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund will gather at the prominent Beverly Hilton Hotel, 9876 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills 90210 to host their 11th Annual Awards Dinner and the 68th Birthday Celebration of the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. The event will begin with a Cocktail Reception at 6pm, followed by Dinner at 7pm.

This year?s gala will serve as conduit to honor several distinguished honorees, including: music legend and HIV/AIDS activist Sir Elton John; sports great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; writer, executive producer and creator of ?Grey?s Anatomy? and ?Private Practice,? Shonda Rhimes; record industry pioneer Al Bell; presiding Prelate of the 9th District, Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Bishop Henry M. Williamson, Sr.; and journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling.

This year's confirmed entertainment for the evening will be Brian McKnight.
