Rebel Muzik will be coming to East London for One Night Only
Warning: This is a night not to be missed!
As part of UK's Black History Month, Rebel Muzik will be hosting its second event and this time we decided to hold it in East London so anyone who has been meaning to make it to Rebel Muzik but couldn't make the long journey Westbound, has no excuse.
The theme of this event is highlighting the relationship between Africa and Islam and looking at the creative fruits that have come from this union, throughout the night we will be focussing on African artists who follow the Islamic faith.
The night will begin with a film screening of Prince Among Slaves, a true story of an African Muslim prince who was taken as a slave to the America's - this film portrays his struggle, his faith and his freedom.
Sheikh Michael Mumisa of Cambridge University will be delivering a speech about Africa's Relationship with Islam.
The Live Showcase will have Poets, Rappers, Comedians and Singers - All of whom are expression of Africa and Islam here in the UK.
